Eliza Chappell Elementary School, a Pre-K-8 World Language Magnet Cluster school, has a long tradition of offering a quality education in the Ravenswood/Bowmanville neighborhood. We are committed to maintaining a safe and caring environment, parent involvement and high academic achievement for all.

Chappell School features:

• A vintage building with a newer addition

• A well-equipped library

• A newly updated computer lab

• Two gymnasiums 

• Indoor atrium

World Language (Spanish) instruction is differentiated for both native and non-native speakers:

• Weekly K-2 Spanish Classes

• Spanish four days per week for grades 3-6

• Daily Spanish class for grades 7 and 8

Extracurricular Programs include:
 

• Saturday Enrichment Academy and After School Academic Programs

• Sports (Soccer, football, basketball, softball,   ballroom dancing)

• Recreational Programs (Photography, After-school Art, Choir and Yearbook)

• Park District Programs

• Algebra course which offers advanced placement in High School for qualifying students.

Chappell has a full-day kindergarten program and offers a half-day “Preschool For All” experience for three to five year olds.
